Bordeaux Farmer's Market

On the last Sunday of every month, the farmers of the Virgin Islands come together and sell their crops. It's just not a market, but a place of gathering where friends come together to catch up, enjoy the freshest foods and listen to music. We finally, after six months of living here, made it to the last one. I think we're addicted as it's rare to find fresh organics down here grown by local farmers.

It was a great day of listening to reggae music, getting to know some of the local people and stocking up on pure goodness. We drank coconut juice right from the shell, ate some delicious pumpkin soup and learned about the different herbs (aside from THAT herb) and fruits grown here in the islands.

We also learned more about the Rastafari religion. It's a peaceful religion full of kind people who are big on family, great food and peace on Earth.
