Tim and I have started a garden on our balcony. Everything is from seed or source. Our pineapple plant was potted after we finished eating a coworkers homegrown pineapple. Our plumeria, or as they call it here, frangipani tree was potted the day we moved into this new place. When we were moving out of the old place back in August 2011 I was going to miss the pretty flowering plumeria tree. I took off a part of the tree to see if we could get it to grow. Now it is 5 feet tall and producing flowers! So pretty. We have a tomato plant that is starting to produce as well as basil, oregano, dill, lettuce, and more. Some are growing very well and others, like our zucchini plant that will get a little zucchini to start producing and then will die. But it is a fun project and we are both enjoying the process.
