No Internet for a Month!

So here is a question....Does anyone think that in the states in a city, small town, anywhere, that you would have no internet for a month? Would the internet provider take that long to come around and fix your problem. I am not sure the answer or even what I think it might be. All I know is that is what happened here on St Thomas! Today is our first day with it back at the house! Tim thinks that this would never happen anywhere else but here...What do you think? Could it, would it, or has it happened elsewhere?
